Where can you go?

  • Do you like fresh fruit, the idyllic countryside and a blossoming landscape along the heart of the Elbe's banks? Then visit the Altes Land. The largest continuous fruit-growing area in northern Europe lies at the gates of the continent.

  • The Holstein region is situated directly on the Elbe. Not only is it characterised by its location along the water, but also by the picturesque moorland, forest and heathland landscapes inland. The famous and delicious Glückstedt Matjes herring also has its origins here.

  • Have you ever cycled to the rhythm of the tides? Not yet? Then experience the unique natural spectacle of ebb and flow up close on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony and be captivated by the typical regional events!

  • Endless expanses, Nordic charm, white beaches and dyke landscapes - that's what characterises the Schleswig-Holstein North Sea coast. You'll be impressed by the flat landscape and the many possibilities.
