Genuine and authentic

The people and places you encounter during your tour along the North Sea Cycle Route are what create moving experiences. Those who encounter the region and its people with an observant and welcoming approach will experience the genuine, authentic and Nordic - for example, when having a chat with the fishmonger or with locals along the way, in the farm shop or at the bakery. This is a great way to immerse yourself in the region and become familiar with the culture and landscape in a variety of ways. You'll certainly come across a word or two in Low German along the way.

"A storm is only when the sheep have no more curls."
