Lookout tower
Off to the Bollenhagen moorland forest. In addition to the beautiful nature, the treetop tower also awaits you.
The Bollenhagen moorland forest is located in an area that is growing together to form the largest contiguous forest in the Weser marshes. The walking route leads through former floodplains of the Jade, through a 150-year-old mixed oak forest and a newly created forest of oaks, birches and willow bushes. Various moorland ghost sculptures by regional artists welcome visitors along the approximately 7 km long hiking trail. Environmental installations and information boards at the "BollWerk" point out the special features of the area. In the north of the area, a talking fountain tells its story.
