The four-sided pyramid-shaped stations are installed from April to mid-October along a paved, easy-to-walk path (approx. 2 km long) on the top of the dyke. They provide information on interesting facts about the plant world, the animal kingdom, dyke and hydraulic engineering and the history of settlement in the area. From mid-October to March, the information can be accessed via QR codes on the stones along the path.
The graphic representations and illustrations of the path are, with a few exceptions, designed as watercolors, drawn as detailed and appealing as possible. You can walk along the trail, which is in close visual contact with the beautiful Elbe estuary, read about the flora and fauna and encounter many of the plants and birds described in the wild directly on site.
The adventure trail starts at the "Ahoi Steffen Henssler" restaurant and is signposted from there by the pyramid-shaped information signs.
Free use with the guest card (see price information).
