Heligoland, Germany's only high seas island, lies in the middle of the North Sea. The pristine, unique red rocks, the white sand of the bathing dune, the blue-green sea all around and the unspoiled nature with its rare seabirds as well as seals and harbor seals have been attracting visitors from all directions for decades.

It is simply fun to stroll along the maritime mile, visit the colorful lobster stalls, marvel at the paintings and handicrafts of the island artists or enjoy Heligoland specialties in the numerous restaurants.
