On the Hemmoor side of the Oste, at the transporter bridge, you will find the information mile of the world's transporters. At four information points, you can learn interesting facts about the eight existing transporter bridges around the world on vivid panels. Four "mini ferries" serve as supports for the door-sized information boards, which are flanked by tables, benches and bicycle stands. The ferry route continues to the Osten-Hemmoor transporter bridge and the ferry stop to the east. Sufficient parking spaces are available along the ferry road.

Von Hamburg aus kommend auf der B73 nach der Ortseinfahrt in Hemmoor-Basbeck die 6. Straße rechts in die Fährstraße fahren. Von Cuxhaven aus kommend auf der B73 fahren Sie nach ca. 5-6 km die 1. Straße nach dem EDEKA-Markt links in die Fährstraße. Die Info-Meile befindet sich auf der Fährstraße. Dort können Sie auf dem Seitenstreifen parken.
