The city's landmark and one of the most popular photo motifs. The amazement is great when the imposing swing bridge opens slowly for large ships - a great picture! The entry parade of the Wilhelmshaven Sailing CUP with the large traditional sailing ships is particularly impressive - this spectacle lasts an hour. With a span of 159 meters and 440 tons of steel, it is Germany's largest swing bridge. When it was still operated manually, six men were needed to open the bridge. It is also popularly known as the "K-W Bridge".
