On Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz between Marktstrasse and Ebertstrasse opposite the central bus station. On Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz, the Kaiser Wilhelm monument commemorates the city of Jade's namesake. This is a replica of the historical statue, as the original from 1896 was melted down after the hostilities of the Second World War.
