The front light, with a height of 17 m, is a white, three-legged lattice beacon with a gallery and green copper dome roof. It is located south of Nordenham, just before the Großensiel sluice. The tower was built in 1897/98 and initially served as the front light Einswarden a few kilometers to the north. It was moved to its current location in 1914.
