Museum
The museum shows the history and conditions of mudflat fishing on the North Sea coast.
  • The development of fishing methods from the set net to modern cutter fishing,
  • The living conditions of the fishermen and their families - from the crab kitchen to the original fisherman's parlour,
  • The processing and marketing of the catch - from the oldest crab peeling machine to the cooking recipe,
  • The five-metre diorama tells of animals and fishermen on the mudflats at low tide,
  • The crab cutter "MS Koralle" is the centrepiece of the Museum of Wadden Sea Fishing and is now on dry land, where it can be visited.
