The crowd puller in the entire region is the 'NordseePassage' in the heart of Wilhelmshaven, which opened in 1997. With the integrated train station and just a few minutes' walk from the city shopping area, the south beach and the "Maritime Mile", it is the hub of the city. The focal point of the large arcade, built in the typical North German clinker brick style, is the unique glass roof construction above the main arcade, which consists of countless triangular surfaces set at different angles to one another. Flooded with light, inviting and friendly - this is how the whole building presents itself.
Under this 'glass umbrella', visitors will find around 50 stores on an area of approx. 28,000 sqm, whose wide range of products leaves no shopping wish unfulfilled.
