In the Otterndorfer Puppenstube - in the listed former town house from 1782 - guests are taken on a very special journey through time. An exhibition of over a thousand dolls, stuffed animals, doll's houses and other exhibits from the 18th century to the present day awaits visitors on 165 square meters.
Most of the exhibits date from the last 50 years and the collection is constantly enriched by valuable rarities donated to the doll's house by other collectors. Highlights of the exhibition include, for example, a handmade doll's house with original furnishings from 1898 and a homemade carousel (late 19th century) that still turns in full working order.
