The Otterndorf marina has 190 berths, of which around 30 are guest berths.
The marina also offers shelter in bad weather and is often used as an entrance to the Hadelner Canal, which leads to Bremerhaven and thus to the Weser.
The entrance to the marina is the mouth of the River Medem. Depending on the draught of the boat, attention must be paid to the water level when navigating. The harbor does not completely dry out and is also accessible for larger boats at high tide. At low tide, the boats sink in the soft silt or remain partially afloat in front of the dyke.
Fresh water is available directly at the harbor, showers and toilets in the kiosk Seglertreff behind the dyke. Mast crane, slipway, crane (up to 9 tons) and disposal facilities are available.
