The Utröper, also known as the town crier, takes you on a history walk. Dressed in historical costume, based on his likeness on the church square and speaking the original Low German, he takes all those interested on a tour of discovery through Otterndorf's old town.

And on other Wednesdays, the old innkeeper of the Otterndorf Ratskeller is sometimes also out and about in traditional garb and can enrich the journey into the past with anecdotes from his professional environment, with a twinkle in his eye.
