The "Shipyard worker" monument was made by the artist Waldemar Otto and erected in 1982. It is located directly opposite the monument to Prince Adalbert of Prussia in Marktstraße. The monument is intended to commemorate the many nameless shipyard workers who helped to rebuild Wilhelmshaven.
