The third stage leads inland towards Marienhafe. Small villages dotted along the way characterise the first part of this stage. The mysterious Störtebeker tower of St Mary's Church in Marienhafe is an inviting stop-off point. The so-called Störtebeker Land is a wonderful place to experience a genuine East Frisian tea ceremony.
The route then continues back towards the North Sea coast through the small village of Neuwesteel and over the Norder Tief. The end of the stage is reached after approx. 42 kilometres in Norden-Norddeich. There's so much to discover here besides the yacht and fishing harbour, the seal breeding station and the tea museum.
